Obituary

Harper Bonnett Obituary It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we grieve the loss of baby Harper Vivian Bonnett. An angel too beautiful to stay with us here on Earth. Harper will forever be held in the hearts of those that loved her so dearly and patiently expected and anticipated her arrival. Precious Harper entered her heavenly home Monday, February 7, 2022, at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, with her courageous parents cradling her in their arms. We wished for a baby, but God gave us an angel instead. Some only dream of angels, but we held one beautiful angel in our arms. We lovingly honor the very short time we held her in and will continue to cherish the memory of sweet baby Harper. The burden of this loss will forever imprint on our hearts and weigh heavy on our minds. This special child touched many lives, and we take comfort in knowing Harper is now watching over us from beyond. Planted on Earth to bloom in Heaven. We will meet again one day. Our hearts will take time to heal, and we appreciate all the prayers and positive thoughts during our time of grief and loss. Harper is survived by her loving parents, Brandon and Courtney (Pickett) Bonnett of Blacklick, OH; brother Ayden Ensman at home; maternal grandparents Mark and Michele Pickett of Dayton; paternal grandparents Linda and Dennis Brock of Shelby; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that were anxiously awaiting her arrival. She was greeted with open arms in Heaven by her grandfather, Joseph Bonnett, Jr; her paternal great-grandparents Howard and Virginia Roop; Inez Burton; Joseph, Sr. and Delilah Bonnett; maternal great-grandparents Kenneth and Rebecca Barber; Charles and Lois Pickett; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held 11:00 Am to 12:00 PM Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM. Pastor James Robinson will officiate with interment held in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the labor and delivery staff at Mount Carmel East Hospital, the First Presbyterian Church, and the entire Barkdull Funeral Home staff for their outstanding care and warm compassion when we needed it most.
