Jamie Patrick Michel, aged 45, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, Ohio.

Born on February 23, 1981, in Sandusky, Ohio, Jamie was the beloved son of Barbara Michel-Clark. His passion for cooking led him to work as a cook across various restaurants. Jamie enjoyed playing video games and watching cooking shows, pursuits that brought him joy throughout his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Barbara Michel-Clark of Norwalk, Ohio; his daughter, Madison Fitzgerald of Lima, Ohio; his father, Eugene P. (Laurie) Michel, Jr. of Cape Coral, Florida.; his brother, Jason Michel, and sister-in-law, Missi Michel, of Shelby, Ohio; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and other relatives.
