Jimmy E. "Jim" Jordan, age 83 of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Crestline Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Crestline, Ohio surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 19, 1942 in Mansfield, Ohio Linza E. and Alma R (Bartrum) Jordan, he had been an area resident the majority of his life. Jim had been employed with Armstrong Air Conditioner in Bellevue for 19 years as a Forklift driver, until his retirement. He had also worked for Midwest in Willard for numerous years.

Jim met the love of his life, Sharon E. Dull, and the two were married February 3, 1961. In 1964, on Fathers Day, the couple finished the home they were building together in Plymouth. During their retirement years, they owned and operated "Granny's Market" in Plymouth where Jim crafted all the wood work for Sharon's various art projects. More than anything, he adored his grandchildren, and loved spending time with them.

He is survived by his four children, Karen (Eric) Maskey of Crestline, Jodi Keller of Occee, FL, Bryan Jordan of Decator, IN and Michelle (Jim) Heilman of Occee, FL; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two siblings, Bobby Lee Jordan of Bellville and Valerlie Mulvane of Shelby; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Sharon E. (Dull) Jordan, their infant son Jeffrey Allan Jordan and two sisters Doris Mullins, and Shirley Porter.

Friends may visit the family at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM the following day with his nephew, Eddy Douglas officiating. Interment will be held at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
