Linda Reed Obituary Linda Kay Reed, age 75, of Willard died on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born June 14, 1947 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late George and Cora (Hicks) Stidam, she had been a Willard resident for 44 years. Linda enjoyed attending Bible study and writing poetry, however the most important thing in her life was her family. Linda was a devoted wife and mother, cherishing every moment that she could spend with her loved ones creating the memories that they will carry with them forever. Survivors include her children, Nathan Reed of Willard, Paul Reed of Sheffield, MA, James Reed of Philadelphia, PA, Mace Reed of Monument, CO, Timothy Reed of Plymouth, Thomas Reed of Rockwood, TN, and Rebecka Reed of Willard; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Rose Mlay of Ashland, Cacolyn Kline of Ashland, Charles Stidam of Spokane, WA, David Stidam of Chillicothe, and JoAnn Frank of Shelby. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mason Reed whom she wed on April 26, 1964; a son, Joel Reed; and five siblings, Kenneth Stidam, William 'Billy' Stidam, Betty Reed, Martha DeMuth, and Eileen Rogers. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will take place immediately following visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Calvin Evans officiating. Interment will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Shelby after the services.
