Lora J. Wright, 55, of Shelby died Wednesday morning January 3, 2018 at Ohio Health Shelby. Born December 13, 1962 in Willard to Richard Lee & Mary Ellen (Stone) Kirkwood, she has been a Shelby area resident her entire life. A 1982 graduate of Buckeye Central High School, Lora had worked at Burger King in Ontario until her illness began last January. She and her husband are members of the First United Church of Christ in Shelby. Lora was also a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed sewing, quilting which she made for everyone in the family, reading and her cat, Jasper. She is survived by her husband, Ken Wright, whom she married July 13, 1991; sister, Patty Guill of Shelby; niece Felicia Kreinbrink of Shelby; nephew, Jacob (Kaleigh) Kreinbrink and their children, Cameron and Sadie of Ostrander; father-in-law, Billy P. Wright and Dave Gwirtz. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; mother-in-law, Ruth Wright and sister-in-law, Karen L. Wright. Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday January 5, 2018 from 5-8 PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM with Pastor James Robinson officiating. Memorial expressions may be made to the American Heart Association.
