Marcia A. Dill, age 78, resident of Bendle Ave., Shelby died Sunday, July 19, 2009 in MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital. Born December 9, 1930 in Shelby to Roy and Ruth (Lehman) Payne, she had been a lifelong Shelby resident. A 1948 graduate of Shelby High School, she was employed with the Ohio Seamless Tube and later worked for 30 years with the First National Bank retiring in 1992 as bank manager. Marcia was a member of the First Lutheran Church. An avid reader, she enjoyed her monthly gatherings with her classmates and was especially fond of her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Dill, whom she wed March 27, 1953; two sons, Jeff (Cindy) Dill of Athens and Chris (Becky) Dill of Bowling Green; one daughter, Dee Dee (Randy) Faggionato of Norwalk; 5 grandchildren, Erin (John) Ross, Evan (Jenna) Dill, Nolan Dill, Olivia Dill, and Benjamin Faggionato; 3 great grandchildren, Brenna, Ava, and Lila Ross; her brother-in-law, William Moore of Redlands, California; one sister-in-law, Wilma Barnes of Phoenix, Arizona, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Virginia Moore and one brother, Kenneth Payne. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday from the First Lutheran Church with Deacon Stephen Keller officiating. Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
