Mary Burrer Obituary Mary Jane Burrer, age 92, resident of Ganges, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the willows of Willard nursing facility. Born September 7, 1931, in Shelby to Samuel and Verne (Adams) Cashman. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1950. Following this she married the love of her life, Kenneth Burrer on September 1, 1950. The couple owned and operated Springhill Fruit Farm for over 30 years. She enjoyed working alongside her children and felt it was a great place for them to be raised. Her past loves were reading, being a farm wife, homemaker, traveling to Myrtle Beach and other destinations. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Shelby and had been active in Farm Bureau for many years. Her most cherished moments were the times spent with her beloved children and their families. Mary Jane is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth (Charlene) Burrer, Jr, of Shiloh, Mark (Pat) Burrer of Ganges, Samuel (Martha) Burrer of Willard, and Jeffrey (Laura) Burrer of Ganges; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, & numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Burrer, Sr. in 2013; daughter and son-in-law Susan (Alton) Franklin; grandson Kevin Franklin; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Samuel (Florence) Cashman, Harold (Lois) Cashman, Earl (Marian Ruth); and one sister and brother-in-law Helen (Ward) Clark. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery, Plymouth, Monday, July 1, 2024. Pastor Diana Seaman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Cass Blooming Grove Fire Fighters Association at 11 North Delaware St., Shiloh, OH 44878.
