Michael Arnold 'Diggy' Obituary Michael Dale Arnold "Diggy", age 63 of Mansfield, fell asleep in death on Saturday, November 16, 2024 surrounded by family, after a 5 year battle with cancer. Mike was born on May 9, 1961 to the late Duane and Carolyn (Smith) Arnold in Shelby, Ohio. He graduated from Shelby High School and earned an associates degree in mechanical engineering at North Central State College. Mike was a bus driver for Madison Local Schools, this proved to be the best job ever and he loved the kids and his co-workers. Mike enjoyed fishing, car restorations, car shows, and traveling, hosting get-togethers where he loved to entertain family and friends and many fishing derbies. Most importantly he never knew a stranger, always willing to lend a helping hand and always up for a good time. He loved grilling out, making his famous "salsa" and doing cannon balls in the pool. He enjoyed being at the lake with his brother and family and our annual pie day with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed time just talking with Camden and watching their favorite shows together. Most recently he enjoyed spending time with his new grandson, Adrian, and watching him learn to crawl. Mike enjoyed it when Madi and Alex would come over and visit, always giving big hugs! Those who will cherish his memories include his wife of 17 years, Jennifer (Reimer) Arnold of Mansfield, Ohio, who he wed on May 18, 2007; his children: Madison (Alex) Diz of Mansfield, Ohio and Camden Arnold of Mansfield, Ohio; his grandchild, Adrian Diz; his siblings: Cheryl (Michael) Kaufman of Ontario and her children: Niki (Chuck) Miller, Cody (Tanna) Kerr, Natalie (Chris) Koch and Sarah (Matt) Kilgore, Ohio and his twin brother, Stephen (Holly) Arnold of Catawba, Ohio and his children: Garrett Arnold, Grant Arnold, and Gracie Arnold; and many cherished great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Duane and Carolyn Arnold and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mike was baptized in his own pool in 2020 as one of Jehovahs Witnesses. He leaves behind so many close friends who have become family. Friends and family may come to honor Mikes life on December 1, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm at the Barkdull Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow starting at 5pm at the funeral home with Chip Wise officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Mikes memory to Hospice of Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110.
