Michael T. "Mickey" Cole, age 41, resident of Cairns Rd., Mansfield died Thursday August 2, 2007 in Mansfield following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born March 22, 1966 in Shelby he is the son of Mike and Carol (Anderson) Cole, of Tiro. Mickey lived in Tiro the majority of his life moving to Mansfield in 1987. A 1984 graduate of Buckeye Central High School, he attended Pioneer Joint Vocational School, and was employed with Timken Co. as a machinist. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Denise (Wilcox) Cole, whom he wed, April 28, 1990; his son, Brian Cole, of Shelby; two brothers, Kelly Cole of Tiro and Rick Anderson of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Linda (Mark) Whitfield of Caledonia; his in-laws, Tom and Deanna Wilcox of Shelby; brother-in-law, Troy Wilcox of Tiro; nieces, nephews, and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Gaster and Dorothy Legg. His passions in life included his wife, son, family, and dogs along with riding his Harley, boating, quad running, and enjoying life to the fullest. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 7, from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend Ralph Kusserow, of Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church, will officiate with interment in Tiro Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
