Nadine Johnson, age 76, resident of Reed St., Mansfield died Monday, September 6, 2010 at MedCentral/Shelby Hospital.
Born August 12, 1934 in Man, West Virginia to Nelson and Ethel (Porter) Bago she had been a Mansfield resident the past forty years. Nadine was a homemaker who enoyed sewing, tending to her flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Charles (Sue) Johnson of Mansfield; three daughters, Teena (Ron) Roberts, Nancy (Gary) Dinges, and Ellen (John) Worden, all of Mansfield, her son-in-law, David L. Roberts of Mansfield; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy (Dora) Vago of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Billy (Sherry) Bago of Mansfield; one sister, Oney Goodan of Olive Hill, Kentucky, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Johnson, one daughter, Wilma Fay Roberts, two brothers Everett Vago and Alfred Bago, one sister, Ernestine Johnson, and a great-grandson, Gavin Lawrence.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend Bruce Copley will officiate with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
