Patsy Porter Obituary Patsy E. Porter, age 73, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Born November 13, 1947 in Gallipolis, OH to Robert and Loiuse (Bowen) Lynn, she was a Shelby resident for the majority of her life. She was also a resident of Galion for 12 years and most recently was residing in Mansfield. Patsy was a loving housewife for her husband and children and enjoyed cooking for them. She was a talented artist who wrote her own stories and poems. A born again Christian, Patsy had attended many local churches. She is survived by her children Ron (Alma) Porter, of Mansfield, Matthew (Krista) Porter, of Galion, Holly (Chris) Vollmer of Mansfield and Heather (Shawn) Crome of Mansfield; grandchildren Tristin (Tori), Tabby, Jordon, Ethan and Alivia; one great granddaughter Avery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Virgil Porter, Jr. who passed February 14, 2019 and her cousin Luther Moore. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
