Richard Curry Obituary Richard 'Rick' Laverne Curry II, age 63, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at Parma Community Hospital in Parma. Rick was born December 25, 1957 to Richard and Yvonne (Thompson) Curry in Mansfield. He graduated from Crestview High School and later worked for Custom Exhaust, Bay World, Lexington Concrete, and the Richland County Highway Department. He was a lifelong resident of the Mansfield area. Rick enjoyed hunting, woodworking, gunsmithing, and working as a mechanic. Survivors include Rick's mother, Yvonne Curry; wife, Sarah (Sites), who he married on September 2, 1982; son, Scott Curry of Chesapeake, VA; siblings, Rodney Curry of Mansfield, Jackie Beaty of Greenwich, and Janie Green of Mansfield; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Shelby First Lutheran Church, 33 Broadway St, Shelby, OH 44875, with Rev. Russell Yoak officiating. Interment will follow funeral services at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
