Richard Kendall Obituary Richard 'Rick' Kendall, age 71, of Shelby died on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield. Born September 30, 1950 in Ashland to the late Denzil C. and Betty J. (Lee) Kendall, he had been a resident of Ashland and Bucyrus previously. A 1969 graduate of Ashland High School, he worked at the Crawford County Landfill as a machine operator. He also worked for the Shelby Police Department and as a Volunteer Fireman in Ashland. Rick enjoyed making people laugh and loved the Cleveland Browns. Survivors include his wife, Judy (Lynch), whom he wed on March 18, 2014; a son, Earl Kendall of Circleville; two step-children, Jody Ratliff of Bucyrus, and Walter (Brenda) Laser of Plymouth; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at the Shelby Church of God Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM. The Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
