Richard Laney Obituary Richard Laney, age 56, died on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Ohio Health Hospital in Shelby. Born on February 16,1963 in Willard to Dave Jr. and Millie Frances (Tackett) Laney, he was a Shiloh resident for the majority of his life. He was a self employed mechanic and contractor and worked around the Shiloh area for many years. Richard was known for his good heart and his willingness to help others. He is survived by his four children, Nicole (Brian) Kirby, Sheena (John) Hummell, Jennifer (Justin) Adams and Destiny (Bradley) Beck; five grandchildren; brother Terry (Tammy) Laney; sister Debra (Ron) Burton; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter Brittney Laney and brothers David and Jeffrey Laney. Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory are assisting the family with the Arrangements.
