Robert "Bob" L. Adams, age 84, of Shelby, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the Embassy of Willard, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on August 13, 1942, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Jess Willard and Odessa Pauline (Beamer) Adams, Bob made Shelby his home since 1988. A proud graduate of Nevada High School in 1960, he dedicated over 30 years to his career as an auto salesman, retiring from Whitey's Ford in Mansfield in 2005.

Bob cherished classic cars and enjoyed exploring with his late wife Donna, relishing their journeys together. He also found joy in woodworking and later in life arts and crafts style painting.

He is survived by his ten children Lia (Dan) Kline of Aurora, Ohio, Tina (Bob) Pifher of Attica, Ohio, Sita Adams of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, Bobbi Jo (Douglas) Stover of Willard, Ohio, Marcus (Cheryl) Adams of Shelby, Ohio, Aaron (Michelle) Adams of New Washington, Ohio, Robin (Ronnie) Olmstead of Galion, Ohio, Barbra (Randy) Dobbin of Shelby, Ohio, Arnold (Judith) Blanton of Bad Camberg, Germany and Catherine (Shane) Pierce, Georgia; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters Ruth Ann Smith of Maryville, Tennessee and Naomi (Joe) Allen of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Donna (Urie) Adams, his brother James Adams, and infant brother Paul Adams.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Doctor Reverend Russel Yoak officiating. Interment will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery in Greenwich, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Bob's memory to the First Lutheran Church, 33 Broadway St, Shelby, Ohio 44875.
