Robert McKenzie Obituary Robert 'Bob' McKenzie, age 85, resident of Mansfield passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. Born December 7, 1937 in Shelby to Van and Virgie (Charles) McKenzie he was a graduate of Shelby High School and a veteran of the United States Army, serving between 1961-1963. He was formerly employed with Diversified Assemblies, painting car parts. Bob enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Randy) Patrick of Shelby; son, Mike (Claudia) Collins of Morehead, KY; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Joyce) McKenzie of Crestline; one sister, Bonnie Potts of Shelby; as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife Jeannette (Caudill) McKenzie, two sisters, Hazel Fike and Deannie Perry; and two brothers, Doug and Earl 'Tunney' Mckenzie. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
