Roger Walton Obituary Roger Walton, age 65, of Shelby, died on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the Crestwood Care Center. Born June 15, 1957, in Shelby, to Violet 'Lucille' (Hicks) and John Walton, he had been a lifelong resident. Roger worked for Dunlap in tire manufacturing and was a member of Maranatha Christian Center. A true outdoorsman, he loved spending time in nature. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved coon dogs. Survivors include his mother, Lucille; two children, Ethan Walton of Shelby and Eve Walton of Shelby; a granddaughter; and a sister, Judy Dotson. Roger was preceded in death by his father, John; and a brother, John Walton, Jr.. Services will not be observed.
