Ronald Slone Obituary Ronald 'Keith' Slone, age 65, resident of Shelby, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Willard. Born December 19, 1955 in Huron County to Jerry and Melba Sue (Scott) Slone, he had been a Plymouth-Shiloh resident for the majority of his life and had lived in Sault Ste Marie, Canada part time with his wife. Keith was a 1974 graduate of Plymouth High School and attended the Ohio State University where he was a walk on for The Ohio State Buckeyes football team playing under Woody Hayes. He left the football gridiron and went to the Mission field when he realized that God was calling him into the Ministry. He had been employed with Sheller- Globe Corporation in Norwalk before working at R.R Donnelly & Sons. Keith later became owner/operator of Slone Trucking, which he ran for several years. Currently Keith was the Pastor of Auburn Christian Tabernacle Church and Oak Hill Mission in Canada. He had previously pastored many churches as a preaching evangelist. He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie (Vallee) Slone, whom he wed October 11, 2017; three children Joseph (Amber) Slone of Plymouth, Tabitha (Steve) Goulding of Freemont, IN, Benjamin (Rachel) Slone of Louisville, KY; step-children Gabrielle Alice Marie (Nathan) Louttit of Canada, Abigail Margaret Anne Fogg and (friend Nils Rey-Mermet) of Switzerland, Jonah Angus William Fogg and Jadon David Samuel Fogg and friend (Courtney Fiacconi) of Canada; five grandchildren Riley, Canaan, Addison, Emery and Beckett Slone; siblings Dr. Rhonda (Ron) Slone Company of Bolivar, OH. and Richard Dyer of Willard; nieces and nephews, Dr. Andrea Company, Dr Mandy Company and her husband Attorney Tyler Kahler and her twin sister Dr.Sarah (Nathan) Cipar, Dr. Matthew (Dr. Aseel) Company, Ryan Dyer, Melissa Carr, Katie (Brian) Williams, four great nieces and nephews.
