Ruth Bierly Obituary Ruth Louise Bierly, age 91, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby She was born September 29, 1929 to Harry and Lena (Giffin) Spearman in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Ruth was a graduate of Centerburg High School. She was a homemaker, and took exceptional pride in caring for her son David. Ruth was a member of the McElroy Church of Christ in Mansfield. She is survived by her son, David Bierly of Shelby; two great-grandchildren, Aleisha and Skyler Rollison ; two brothers Ralph (Darlene) Spearman of Katy, TX, and Ronny Spearman of Mount Vernon. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, John 'Bill' Bierly whom she married on January 5, 1957; her granddaughter Cheryl Rollison; and her brother, Bob Spearman. Per Ruth's wishes a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
