Shirley Wray Obituary Shirley M. Wray, age 80, resident of Shelby, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born October 11, 1940 in Mansfield, Ohio to Wayne Ethel and Geraldine (Hess) Ruffaner, she had been a Mansfield resident before moving to Shelby in the 1960's. A 1958 graduate of Union High School in Mansfield, Shirley had worked as an inserter at Donnelley's for 5 years, before working at Shelby Mutual as a Home Owners Insurance agent for 8 years. Shirley Enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Danny Wray, Sr. whom she wed June 25, 1960; three sons, Mark (Amy) Wray of Galloway, OH., Todd (Mary) Wray of Shelby, Danny (Sally) Wray Jr. of Ostrander, OH and one daughter Barb (Scott) Harvey of Shelby; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Betty Mathes of Mansfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Wayne Ethel of Georgia. Per Shirley's wishes, calling hours and funeral services will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made in Shirley's name to the Shelby Girls Softball League at 34 E. Main St. or St, Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
