Susan Huggins Obituary Susan G. Huggins of Galion, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at home. Born on September 18, 1941 in Toledo to Russell Thornton and Janet (French) Thornton-Grose, Susan was a proud mother and homemaker. Susan loved to shop. She enjoyed watching QVC and HSN, and finding great deals on Amazon. Susan also liked traveling and spending time with her loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Vincent Huggins; children, Jeff Erdman, Traci (Tom) Brogan, Russ Ark, Jeff (Betsy) Huggins; siblings, Denny (Pam) Thornton, Terry Thornton, Debbie (Lou Lo) Critchett; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving parents; step-father, Deo Grose; mother-in-law, Eileen Huggins; father-in-law, Clyde Huggins; sister-in-law, Carol Broderick; and step-son, Steven Huggins. Calling hours will be held at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 3:00PM-5:00PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00PM with Rev. Janet Wittenmyer officiating. In place of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Crawford County Humane Society.
