Terry Murphy Obituary Terry L. Murphy age 69, resident of Shelby died Monday morning, February 21, 2022 at his brothers home in Galion. Born November 30, 1952, in New London, Ohio to Ned and Mary (Doty) Murphy DeLong, he had been a Shelby resident for the past two years, previously residing in Morrow County, Atlanta, GA and Florida. A 1972 graduate of Northmor High School, Terry had been a Veteran of the United States Army. Terry had worked as a mechanic for many years, working on large machinery for Kawasaki and Caterpillar in Atlanta , GA and Florida. He enjoyed online car racing games, where he could stay in connection with his brother living out of state. He is survived by his two sisters; Vicki (Jerry) Brubaker of Morrow County, Judi Murphy of Murrells Inlet, SC and brother Garry (Mary Kay) Murphy of Galion; mother Mary (Doty) Murphy DeLong; his beloved K-9 companion, Maggie May; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father Ned Murphy. Per Terry's wishes, funeral services will not be observed.
