Thomas Edward Wilcox, age 86, of Tiro, Ohio, passed away on October 18, 2026, at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital, with his loving family by his side.

Thomas was born on October 17, 1940, to the late Gale and Lucille (Barier) Wilcox in Shelby, Ohio. He was a 1958 graduate of Shelby High School. He worked for AMF and retired from Timken Roller Bearing Company. He was an outdoorsman through and through. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. One of his favorite things to do was to travel to various casinos with his late wife, Deanna Wilcox.

He is survived by his two children, Denise (Jack McCloud) Cole of Mansfield, Ohio and Troy (Christina) Wilcox of Crestline, Ohio; ten grandchildren: Nicole (Geoff) Bortel, Patrick Wilcox, Haylee McCloud, Brian Cole, Ryan McCloud, Ashley McCloud, Allie Zickefoose, Teresa Smith, Samantha Smith, and Nick (Mackenzie) Storms; seven great-grandchildren: Henry, Benjamin, Walter, Brandon, Emily, Kenny and Myles; one sister, Joanne (Gary) Johnson; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna (Amstutz) Wilcox, whom he married on August 26, 1961, and brother, Bob (Bev) Wilcox.

Friends and family may visit Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby Friday, October 23, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 PM with Reverend Nathan R. McBeth officiating. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Tiro-Oakland Cemetery.

In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Tom's memory to Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church at P.O. Box 126, Tiro, OH 44887.
