Timothy 'Bo' Parrish Obituary Timothy 'Bo' Parrish, age 68, went to be with his Lord and Savior on his birthday, December 16, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Tim was born December 16, 1956, in Ansted, West Virginia to the late Ivan and Evelynn (Legg) Parrish, he had been an area resident for the last 20 years. Tim had a passion for working as a mechanic. He spent the majority of his career in the trucking industry driving semi's for Phillip's Manufacturing. He was known for his extensive knowledge in diesel engine repair often repairing things that required attention or fabricating new parts as needed. Dedicated to his job, Tim would often stay after his shift to assist his coworkers with whatever issues may have arisen with their equipment, even coming in on weekends to help keep things running smoothly. He proudly retired on January 15, 2024, thoroughly enjoying his new found freedom.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Brenda (Romine) Parrish, whom he wed September 18, 1993; seven children and their spouses, Dale, Brian (Marla), Bobby (Christine) Stevie (Jackie), Timmy, Jack, Brittany (Dylon); 14 grandchildren, Joey, Jacob, Angel, Zach, Rocky, Heather, Sabrina, Christian, Isacc, Brie, Daniel, Jilian, Elijah, Deliah and one grandson on the way; five great-grandchildren, Trace, Mollie, Luke, Darcy and Harper; one sister Tina (Rick) Clapper; a special Uncle Dave Jones; his K-9 companion and mini guard dog, Benji; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four siblings, Vicky, Sue, Ron and Wayne.
Friends may visit the family Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Pastor Dave Purdy will officiate with interment held in Oakland Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tims grandson, Zach, for the around-the-clock dedication, care, and attentiveness he gave to his grandfather in recent days.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the form of donations to the Family.
