Trina Jeffrey Obituary Trina Ellen Jeffrey, age 77, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her home in Shelby. She was born February 5, 1944 in East Stroudsburg, PA to Clarence F. & Dorothy (Lenington) Marsh in East Stroudsburg, PA and had been a resident of Philadelphia until moving to Shelby August 16, 1980. A 1961 graduate of Stroudsburg High School she then attended Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing for 3 years graduating in 1964. She had worked as an RN with Shelby Hospital & Shelby Home and Public Health for 26 years as the staff nurse and assistant director. This was a very rewarding career for Trina. Trina was a member of the 1st Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading and loved swimming. Survivors include one daughter, Dr. Susan (Adam) Jeffrey-Borger of Madison, Wisconsin; her very special granddaughter, Sophia Borger; brother James (Roberta) Marsh of Stroudsburg, PA; two nieces, cousins and one aunt, and her beloved kitty Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dr. William Jeffrey whom she married in 1972, and an aunt. A memorial service will be held at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory Friday September 17 at 1:00 PM.
