Vance Warfel Obituary Vance Cameron Warfel, age 33, died unexpectedly Wednesday February 1, 2023, at his residence in Mansfield. Born August 17, 1989, to Charles Allen Warfel II and Lisa (Richards) Wirick, he had been a lifelong area resident. A 2008 graduate of Ontario High School, he attended Pioneer Career and Technology Center where he studied computer networking. He also had taken classes at North Central State College and always did well in school. He was a very smart guy. Vance enjoyed watching many sports and knew all the facts about the teams and players. He was very knowledgeable and informative when it came to sports talk. He had a big heart and was a good person who enjoyed joking and laughing with his family and friends. Vance liked tinkering around the garage, working on computers, and enjoyed rap and rock music. He attended church and was a believer in God. His soul is finally at peace with his Lord and Savior. Survivors include his parents; son, Camren Allen Warfel; brother, Vincent Patrick Warfel of Mansfield; aunts, Lori Richards of Galion, Shari Johnson of Mansfield, and Jodi Johnson of Mansfield; maternal grandmother, Patricia Richards; paternal grandparents, Charles (Rosie) Warfel of Jacksonville, FL, and Joanna Johnson of Shelby; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John R. Richards. Family and friends are invited to Connect Church in Shelby at 4062 London West Road, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, for visitation from 11:00AM-12:00PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12PM with Pastor Ricky Lewis officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Vance's son, Camren Warfel in care of the Barkdull Funeral Home.
