Obituary
Astrid Rose Williams, age 86, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 5, 1936 in Chiswick, England to Reginald and Rose L. (Salter) Egmere, she was raised in London, England for many years, moving to Orlando, FL. before settling in Shelby in 2015. For over 30 years she was a housekeeper for private families in Orlando, then was employed as a waitress.
She is survived by her son Mark (Susan) Williams of Mooresville, SC; one daughter Vickie (Virgil) Stephens of Shelby; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother.
