Billy Dewayne Eldridge, age 61, of Englewood, passed away on May 30, 2022 as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Born January 13, 1961 in Dayton, to Billy and Irene (Brown) Eldridge, he had been an Englewood resident for over 20 years. Billy graduated from Shelby High School in 1979 and worked as a fork lift operator for SB Specialty Metals LLC. He was a member of the Weasels Motorcycle Club and loved riding his Harley. He was also an avid Ohio sports fan and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Guardians, Browns, and Cavaliers, as well as The Ohio State University Buckeyes. Billy was a family man, he would include those he loved in his hobbies whenever possible and cherished the time that they were able to spend together watching the game or going for a ride.
Survivors include Billy's father, Billy Eldridge; children, Brian Eldridge of Galion, Rachelle Emory of Bucyrus, Billy (Julie) Eldridge of Mansfield, and Bayley Eldridge of Mansfield; grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaden, Mason, Grayson, and Carey; four step-children; numerous step-grandchildren; and siblings, Randy (Marie) Brown of Mansfield, Aaron Eldridge of Mt. Vernon, Jeff (Annette) Eldridge of Shelby, and Kathy (Gene) Highfield of Shelby; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Brown, in 2016. His wife, Toni Marie, also died as a result of the motorcycle accident and is riding with Billy in Paradise.
Family and friends are invited to visitation at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.. Funeral services will then take place at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor James Robinson officiating. Interment will take place immediately following services at Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
