Blanche Jeanne Cattey

Blanche Jeanne Cattey, age 94, resident of Shelby died April 20, 2022, at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby. 
Born April 30, 1927, in Shelby to Ellsworth and Mary Magdalene (Pelletier) Cattey she had been a lifelong Shelby resident. She was employed with Tech Form Industries in Shelby retiring after 45½ years of service. Blanche had traveled extensively across the United States and enjoyed taking bus trips with the senior’s club and visiting the casinos.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers Leo, Joseph, Emmett and James Cattey; four sisters Irene Kress, Kathleen Farnwalt, Mary LaBarge, Elenora Moritz and infant sister Eugenia A. Cattey. 
Private graveside services will be held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Settlement, with Father Chris Mileski officiating. Calling hours will not be observed.
