Charity Ramey Obituary

Charity Dyanne Ramey, died unexpectedly in a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, April 7, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio.

Born March 30, 1992, in Mansfield, Ohio to Roger D. Ramey and Melissa D. (McKenzie) Grove, Charity had been a lifelong area resident. She was a former Shelby student and graduated from Willard High School in 2010, as a Pioneer Career & Technology student where she studied web page design. Charity is a former employee of Cornell's IGA and Carton Service. She was currently an employed with Jersey Mikes in Ontario where she touched many lives of the coworkers in just the few short months she was there.

The sudden and tragic loss of Charity's life will forever be a scar on the hearts of her friends and family who loved her so dearly. Her memory will forever be cherished and carried on throughout all the days of our lives. Our hearts are heavy and hurting. As we mourn her loss, we look for peace and healing, with a new outlook on life. To live everyday as if it may be our last. Charity was fearless and had such a vibrant personality. She was a strong willed, free spirited girl. Her laugh was contagious, and her dance moves made anytime a party. Sometimes referred to as Char Bear, she loved all things dark, edgy, and "emo". She was a horror movie buff, enjoyed getting tattoos and piercings, and will be known for wearing her black leggings and checker Vans shoes. Charity liked lots of varieties of music, and recently attended a Tool concert, one of her favorite bands. Other hobbies included painting, cooking fancy home dinners, especially with her homemade Alfredo sauce, and walking her dogs to the park with her boyfriend. Our Char is now a beautiful angel and we hope she looks down on us and smiles. May her soul rest in peace.

She is survived in death by her parents, stepfather Tom Grove, previous stepfather Dennis Kehres; boyfriend Caleb Ferguson; her precious children, Ava Lou Morales and Oliver Rae Porter; sisters Whitley (Josh Ditmars), and Alexi Kehres; nephews Joel, and Camren; aunts Heidi (John Lemon) McKenzie, Amy Kelly, Mindy McKenzie; cousins Lindsey (Nick White) Lemon, Jesse Kelly, Brittany Schnitzer, Caleb (Shyann) Williams, Christian Kelly; paternal grandmother Madge Ramey; maternal grandfather Barry (Shelly) McKenzie; half siblings Travin (Kathleen) Ramey, and Lisa (Chad) Montgomery; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Diane (Gray) Lambert in 2020; and her paternal grandfather Lester Ramey in 2009.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
