Charles L. Bisel

Charles L. Bisel age 88, died Monday, May 10, 2021 at Crystal Care Center in Mansfield.

Born May 31, 1932 in Crestline, Ohio to Henry and Myrtle (Wallace) Bisel, the majority of his life was spent in the rural Shelby area before spending the last two and a half years with his daughter and son in law. A 1950 graduate of Shelby High School, Charles was a member of the Ganges Community Church.  He had been a farmer for many years, farming grains and raising cattle, pigs and sheep. Charles was passionate about farming and enjoyed farming with his brothers Richard and Duane. He will be remembered for his loving nature and putting smiles on peoples faces and encouraging his family and friends. 

He is survived by his one daughter Cindy (Tom) Hause of Ontario; one son Kim Bisel of Shelby; two brothers Richard (Karolyn) Bisel of Shelby, Duane (Barbara) Bisel of Mansfield; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Evajean (Heuberger) Bisel in 2005, daughter Debra Bisel in 2000; brother Ralph Bisel; five sisters Florence McClain, Mable "Tiny" (Harry) Chadwick, Eileen Bisel, Naomi Dunlap and Iona "Tody" (James) Pugh.
