Deborah Ann Townsend age 65, resident of Shelby, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday February 12, 2018 at Ohio Health Shelby.
Born October 27, 1952 in Columbus, OH to Thomas and Virginia (Jordan) Douglas, she had been a Shelby resident the majority of her life. Deborah had owned and operated the Home Cook Inn for several years, working along side two of her best friends, her mother and sister. She greatly enjoyed working with her friends at InfoCision for many years. A member of the Shelby Ladies of the Moose Lodge, she had enjoyed spending time on her phone and computer playing online games as well as eating sweets and watching soap operas. Most of all, Deborah loved her cats, Titan and Baby Girl. Her bubbly personality will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who met her.
She is survived by her two sons William Edward Townsend Jr. of Shelby, Brandon Erin (Jamie Ross) Townsend of Shelby; a very special granddaughter Alexis Taylor Townsend; two grandsons Dustin Thomas and Tyler Reed Townsend; one sister Sue (Doni) Limpach and brother Butch (Joyce) Douglas both of Shelby; special nephew Alex "Biggy" Schiffer; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents and beloved dog Harley.
Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, February 16, 2018. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM, officiated by Eddie Douglas.
