Dorothy Ann Bisel, age 91, of Shiloh passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 24, 1928 in Shelby. She was the daughter of Wilbur and Matilda (Rust) Gribben. Dorothy lived her entire life in the Shelby- Shiloh area and graduated from Shelby High School in 1946. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her flower beds, and traveling, whether abroad or in the United States. Dorothy loved to play cards and being with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church and the White Hall Farm Women's Club.
She is survived by her ten children, David (Carol) Bisel, Roger (Jan McCracken) Bisel, Donald (Liz) Bisel, Garry (Terri) Bisel, Kenneth (Carla) Bisel, William "Bill" Bisel, Paul (Kim) Bisel, Katherine "Kathy" (Buddy) Enzor, Becky (Tim) Fields, and Sherri (Rick) Depinet; 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren with three on the way; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ralph Bisel on May 24, 2016, her grandson Timothy Fields II; and her sister Janet Weiland.
Friends may call on at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby on Monday, September 28, 2020, from 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 AM at Mt. Hope Lutheran Church, 29 Main Street W., Shiloh, OH . Pastor Blanche Tyree and Dorothy's son-in-law, Tim Fields will officiate with interment following in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial expressions may be made to Mt. Hope Lutheran Church.
