Gerald Blaine Strock, 67, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born on December 6, 1953 to James and Cretora (Brindel) Strock in Akron. Gerald was a 1972 graduate of Bellevue High school and had worked for many years as a machine operator for Bellevue Manufacturing Co. until his retirement in 2000. Gerald had lived in Bellevue for many years, then resided in Long Island, NY before moving to Shelby in 2017. He was a longtime member of the UAW #493 and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Gerald's passion was riding his Harley Davidson with his friends. He enjoyed camping, gardening, bird watching and listening to Rock-N-Roll music. Gerald was a history buff who enjoyed following the Cleveland Indians and the Browns. Above all, Gerald loved his family, especially his grandchildren, who were his world.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jeanine Clark of Shelby and Michelle (Jeremy) How of Hilliard; his four grandchildren, Paxton, Kaia & Torin Clark and Emma Boggs; two brothers David Strock of Tallmadge, OH, and Eric Strock of N. Canton; two nephews and many other friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
