Ival Coile, age 72, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield.
He was born on December 16, 1948 to John Woodrow and Amy (Booth) Coile in Clarke County, GA, he was a Shelby resident the majority of his life. Following high school, Ival enlisted in the US Army where he served during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Carton Service for 48 years until his retirement. He spent many summers coaching both the Segami and Carton Service Little League teams in Shelby. Ival was an avid drawer and artist. He enjoyed following the Cleveland Indians and Atlanta Braves. As well as watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and Georgia Bulldogs football programs.
He is survived by his two sons, Shawn (Christina) Coile of Shelby and Ryan Coile of Bellville; four grandsons Ty, Gavin, Connor and Carter Coile and his granddaughter Ryann Coile; his brother John W. Coile of Dayton, his sister Deborah (Donny) Hayes of Athens Georgia, and many other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Ival was preceded in death by his brother Randy Coile, and two sisters Patricia Matheney Fortson, and Gloria Vivian Coile
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family to help offset funeral expenses.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
