Jack Edward Stevens, born May 5, 1936 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday March 10, 2021. He had served his country in United States Army. Jack had been employed with Empire Detroit Steel for over 35 years.
Jack never knew a stranger and would not hesitate to help anyone in need. He loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father Gaylord Stevens, mother Mary (Whitt) Stevens and sister Dreama Thomas.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years Patricia; daughter Audrey; sons Jack Jr. and Tim; three grandkids Matthew, Austin and Ashlea; two great-grand daughters, Gabby and Gracie; his brother Dee Stevens; his sisters Dorothy Swindall and Pauline Smith; nieces and nephews.
Family graveside services will be held Saturday March 13, 2021 in the Chapel in Pioneer Cemetery, Ashland County Rd. 175 , Loudonville, Ohio. Pastor Glenn Phillips will officiate and burial will follow with full military honors. Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby is assisting the family with arrangements.
