Kenneth Adams Obituary

Kenneth L. Adams, age 91, resident of Shelby died Sunday August 29, 2021 at the Willows of Willard Nursing Facility. 

Born September 18, 1929 in Shelby to John H. and Fannie F. (Wilford) Adams he was a lifelong Shelby area resident. A 1947 graduate of Shiloh High School he had been a self employed farmer for many years. He was a member of the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church for many years and had served on the Shelby Equity board and New Hope school board. Kenneth enjoyed traveling and square dancing with the Cloverleaf Square Dance Club.

Survivors include his four sons John (Kathi) Adams of Shiloh, Jeffrey (Janet) Adams of Shelby, James (Robin) Adams of Shelby and Jay (Gale) Adams of Shiloh; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Betty Adams of Shelby; nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce A. (Weilnau) Adams in 2020; two brothers William (Novelda) Adams and George Adams.     

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Pastor Blanche Tyree of the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Hope Lutheran Church at 29 W Main St, Shiloh, OH 44878.
