Linda D. Hursh

Linda D. Hursh age 76, passed away July 2, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.

Born April 20, 1945 to Charles and Beatrice (Robinson) Hartz in Shelby she had been a life long Shelby resident. She was a 1963 graduate of Shelby High School. She was self 
employed as a beautician and worked at the Style Shop in Shelby, and then was employed at Tech Form in Shelby. She then worked at Newman Technology  in Mansfield where she 
retired in 2007. Linda enjoyed crafts, especially making greeting cards. She entered her cards at the county fair winning best of show twice. She also sold them at Shelby farmers market, where she enjoyed the fellowship of her friends.

She is survived by her husband Howard E. Hursh whom she married July 25, 1992; her children Tina and Jerry Eldridge of Shelby, Mandy Gwirtz and Sean Patterson of Euclid, OH; her grandchildren Chelsey and Josh Anderson and Brandon and Sarah Eldridge; one great grandchild Theodore Anderson; three step children; step grandchildren; and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Gwirtz in 1979 and two brothers Charles and Edwin "Butch" Hartz. 

Friends may call on Monday July 5, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:45 AM at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby graveside services will follow at 12:00 PM at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery. Father Chris Mileski will officiate. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Linda's memory to The Shelby CIC either on the website at www.shelbycic.com or by mail to 43 West Main Street Shelby, OH 44875. The funds will be specifically used to refresh the farmers market pavilion in downtown Shelby.
