Linda Lou Merle

Linda L. (Sipe) Merle, age 73, died Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Ohio Health Mansfield, surrounded by her family.

Born September 3, 1948, in Mansfield to the late Leroy and Maxine (Reed) Sipe. She had been a Shelby resident since 1990.  Linda was a 1967 graduate of Madison High School and was a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle Church of Ontario.  She was formerly employed with Hills and Ames department stores. She was a generous soul and would give to others before she would give to herself. One thing she enjoyed, was getting into her little red car and driving around Shelby delivering coffee to the community.  Many of her stops involved the Shelby Fire Department, Shelby Police Department, Shelby Hospital, Park National Bank, and her Arby's friends. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, watching Tv and listening to her favorite artist, Adele.   

She is survived by her ex-husband; Jacob Merle, two daughters; Michelle L. (Bill) Bradley of Mansfield, Bonnie J. (David) Duncan of Shelby; grandchildren Chelsey and Casey Bishop of Mansfield, and Taylor Duncan of Shelby; great-grandson; Braxton Darby; sisters Karene (Jesse) Carsey and Nancy Zeigler. both of Mansfield. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson; Anthony Bishop; brothers; Randy, Ray, and Leroy "Buz" Sipe.
