Linda Peterson Obituary

Linda Faye Peterson, age 70, resident of Shelby, died on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at OhioHealth Mansfield.

Born December 11, 1951, in Portsmouth, to the late Richard and Clara (Collins) Reeder. She was a long-time area resident and a 1969 graduate of Shelby High School.

Linda was a hard-working woman and poured herself into her career. She was the office manager at Longview Steel. Linda was a dedicated treasurer at the Shelby Church of the Nazarene for over 30 years. When Linda wasn't busy in the office, she enjoyed gardening, spending time with her dog Maya and her family.

Survivors include two children, Trent E. Peterson and Jodi L. (Brian) Sands both of Shelby; and sister Debbie (Rick) Hoover of Wooster.

Friends and family are welcome at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Lester Champer officiating. Interment will then take place at Oakland Cemetery.
