Loretta Winkelman

Loretta Winkelman 69, resident of Willard, died Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.

Born April 16, 1952 to Fred and Delma (Harvey) Winkelman in West Liberty, Kentucky, she had been employed with Mapa Pioneer in Willard for over 25 years. She also worked at Lake Park Industries in Greenwich. 

Loretta loved shopping at thrift stores, Goodwill and garage sales. Her hobbies included collecting dolls, working on jigsaw puzzles, and gardening flowers. 

She is survived by her son Adam Hicks of Willard; sister Wanda Gose of Walnut, Mississippi; brother Rodney Winkelman of Shelby, as well as other relatives. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Shirley Phillips. 

Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Pastor James Robinson will officiate with interment held in Oakland Cemetery.
