Mary Perry Rheinscheld Obituary

Mary Perry Rheinscheld, age 95, died Friday, July 17, 2020 at Parkvue Place Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio.

Mary was a Shelby resident from 1951- 2015. She was born on December 3, 1924 on her family's farm in Hocking County near Logan, Ohio. Mary had been employed at Westinghouse, AMF, Struble's Drug Store, and Duff's Shoe Store.

On June 16, 1951, Mary married Worlie "Jack" Perry. In addition to becoming a wife, she also became a loving stepmother to Jack's three young daughters. They then added three more children to their family.

Mary is survived by her daughter Carol (Larry) McCoy; her stepdaughters Sandi (Jerry) McGuire and Judy (Denis) DuVall; grandchildren Heather, Jason, Steven, Molly, Tracy, Wendy, Kerry, Bill, Jack, Milton, and Teresa; great grandchildren Camden, Kelsey, Lacey, and Raegan and numerous step-great grandchildren; and her lifelong best friend Betty Jose.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ethel Primmer; husband Worlie "Jack" Perry, husband Gerald Rheinscheld; two children Greg Perry and an infant child, stepdaughter Karen Orrels; granddaughter Kelly McGuire Schiliro; grandson Thomas Templeman; and siblings Ellen, Waveline, Bud, Frank, Ralph, Thelma, Jim, Carol, and Carl.

The family wishes to thank Parkvue for their excellent care of Mary over the past 5 years. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Parkvue Place Care Center at 3800 Boardwalk Blvd, Sandusky, OH 44870.

Per Mary's wishes, funeral services will not be observed. A private family graveside service will be held with Chaplain Mike Sweeney of SouthernCare Hospice officiating.
