Melody G. Voll age 64, resident of Shelby died Saturday, April 9, 2022 at her home.
Born June 21, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to Larry and Betty (Sittig) Pendleton, she has a life long Ohio resident, and part-time Florida resident. Melody had worked for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority for 8 years as a bus driver. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Shelby, where she served on the open and affirming committee as well as a worship leader. Melody was an amazing cake decorator, and enjoyed making cakes for her friends and family. Her heart and mind was always at the beach and would travel anywhere that she could put her toes in the sand. A talented diamond artist, she was passionate about softball and youth coaching.
She is survived by her two children, Tisha (James) Carr and Lance (Sonya) Voll both of Columbus, her brother, Larry(Jacki)Pendleton of Dublin and their children, Tiffany(Joel) and great Niece Olivia, Ryan( Colleen),nephew Randy Jr( Sara), 13 grandchildren, Greysyn (Dalton) Cheyney, Rheygyn, Kaylyn, Brynley, Daxtyn, Linkyn, Aynsley, Fynnley, Piersyn, Taylor (Jacob), Dillion and Chase; one step-daughter Becky (David) Wells of Comercial Point, OH and their children. numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her life long partner Roxanne Furber, and brother Randy Pendleton.
A memorial services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, April 23, 2022 from the First United Church of Christ at 23 Church St, Shelby, OH 44875. Pastor James Robinson will be officiating.
