Nancy Lee Baldridge

Nancy Lee Baldridge, age 84, resident of Shelby, died at home on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Nancy was born on October 5, 1937, in Bucyrus, to Claude C. and B. Blanch (Cross) Corfman. She graduated from Sycamore High School in 1955, attended dental hygienist school, and later attended classes at Ashland College. 

Nancy worked as a dental hygienist prior to marrying her husband Homer Baldridge on July 6, 1958. After her children entered school, she worked at Shiloh and Plymouth Elementary Schools as a library aide, and later at Miami Systems.

Nancy was a skilled seamstress, 4-H advisor, Sunday School teacher, puppeteer, and participated several years in Toastmasters with her husband. She helped her husband on their farm near 
Plymouth before moving into Shelby 15 years ago. She was a member of Rome Community Church.

She is survived by her children: Steven (Jill) Baldridge of Shelby; Jeffrey (Deborah) Baldridge of Galion; Lisa (Col. Rick) Taylor of Kendallville, IN; son-in-law Brian Bolinger of Mt. Gilead; sister-in-law: Edna Baldridge; grandchildren: Michael Baldridge, Katie Baldridge, Daniel Bolinger, Benjamin Bolinger, Rachel (Connor) Lucas, Peter Bolinger, David (Emily) Baldridge, Rebekah Baldridge, Sarah Baldridge, Isaac (Hannah) Baldridge, Ryan (Sarah) Taylor, Geoffrey Taylor, John Michael (Anna) Taylor, Jennifer (Levi) Schwaberow, Eric Taylor, Megan Pieper; great grandchild: Jayton Wakeford; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer; sister, Beverly Rambo; brother, Thomas Corfman; sister, Sue Bench; daughter, Lori Bolinger; and grandson, Jonathan Bolinger.

Visitation will be held at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, April 18, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Rome Community Church located at 499 OH-603 Shiloh, Oh 44878. Her son, Pastor Steven Baldridge will officiate.  Interment will take place at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. 

Instead of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Rome Community Church.
