Obituary

Patricia Arlene Tackett, age 89, resident of Shelby died Friday, August 26, 2022 at OhioHealth Mansfield under hospice care. 

Born October 30, 1932 in Shiloh Ohio to William and Frances (Jeremy) Zeigler she had been a Shelby resident the majority of her life. She was a 1951 graduate of Tiro High school.  Patricia was employed with R.R. Donneley in Willard for many years until retiring in 1978. Patricia enjoyed reading, bird watching, kintting, eating out and shopping. 

She is survived by her husband Daniel Tackett whom she married October 19, 1951; one sister Effie Cole of Tiffin and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in five sisters Luella Pettit, Dorothy Humphrey, Della Jean Zeigler, Emily Zeigler and Pauline Zeigler; four brothers Charles, William, John and Kenneth Zeigler.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Tiro Oakland Cemetery. Pastor Lester Champer will officiate. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the OhioHealth Hospice at 335 Glessner Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio 44903.
