Randall Stiving

Randall P. Stiving, age 57, of Shelby passed away Tuesday August 24, 2021 at his home.

Born in Shelby on December 13, 1963 and has been a resident of Shelby his entire life.  He was a 1983 graduate of Shelby High School and a graduate in Auto Technology at Pioneer Career & Technology Center. He then attended the University of North Western Ohio where he received his associate's degree in Diesel Technology. Randall retired from the City of Shelby as a mechanic for the Street Department. He was also formerly employed with Bestway Transportation in Plymouth.

A true outdoorsman, his hobbies included hunting, fishing, and boating. In his younger years he participated in demolition derbies and he loved watching and attending truck pull events. 

He is survived by his son, Blake Stiving (Savanna Harriman) of Shelby; three brothers, Richard Stiving of Colorado, Desmond (Lori) Donnenwirth of Shelby, Stacy (Laura) Stiving of Shelby; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives; his close special friends Harvey Traxler, Mark Nothacker, Mike Nothacker, and Janice Cooper; his canine companions Sissy, Millie, Tuggs, and Lady May.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Stiving and Betty L. Donnenwirth.

Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. A private family service will be held at a later date.
