Ray Brandon Richman, age 53, of Mansfield, died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at OhioHealth Shelby Hospital.
Born November 28, 1968, to Merle L. Richman and Donna M. (Sexton) Bailey, he has been a Mansfield resident for the past five years. He was previously a lifelong resident of the Shiloh area.
Ray was a mechanic and loved working on old cars. He often said that he was a "Jack of All Trades, but don't tell anyone or they'll ask you to do everything." He was an outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Family was the most important thing in Ray's life; he loved spending time with his grandchildren and his brother, Mark, who was his best friend.
Ray is survived by his wife, Linda (Gregory), whom he wed on February 7, 1998; mother, Donna Bailey, daughters, Donna (Joshua) Filter of Mansfield, Angie (James Morrow) Pitzen of Shelby, and Alicia Pitzen of Shelby; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Lillian, Graysen, Brandon, Avery, Addin, and Amelia; siblings, Mark (LaDonna) Richman, Terry (Melissa) Richman, Travis (Linda) Richman, Merle Richman, and Casie (Travis) Putt.
He was preceded in death by his father, Merle L. Richman; Uncle Wayne Sexton, who was more like a second father to Ray; and his grandparents and great-grandparents.
There will be no services for Ray at this time. The Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby is honored to assist the family with their arrangements.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Barkdull Funeral Home, 33 N. Gamble St., P.O. Box 644, Shelby, OH 44875.
