Ronald M. Blevins

Ronald Milton Blevins, age 67, died Monday, January 25, 2021 at Ohio Health Hospital in Mansfield.

Born March 30, 1953 in Morehead, KY to Simon P. and Betty (Sergent) Blevins, he was a Mansfield-Ontario resident for many years moving to Shelby in the last year. He was employed as maintenance for Carton Service for 30 years then was employed with Bobst Co. from which he retired. A member of the NRA, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ronald's true passion was music, he played electric and stand up bass most recently with his band "Faces made for Radio". 

He is survived by his two sons Jacob (fiancée Jamie Robinson) Blevins of Wakeman, OH and Paul Blevins of Bellville, OH; one daughter Lori (Derek) Myers of New Port Ritchey, FL; grandchildren Kara Lyne Smith, Charlie Oney, Samantha Oney; four great-grandchildren; siblings Jim (Janet) Blevins, Bruce (Rosemary) Blevins and Virgil Blevins, Steve (Jennifer) Blevins all of Shelby and Randy Blevins of Man, WV. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Reynolds;  three nieces  Angie Robertson, Keisha Blevins, Sharon Verburg ; nephew Charles Dyer and his late wife Peggy Blevins.  

Friends may call the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby Monday, February 1, 2021 from 12:00PM to 1:30PM. Funeral Service will follow with Interment taking place at Oakland Cemetery.
