Stacy Lynn Sexton, age 48, resident of Tiro died Thursday April 22, 2021 at her home with her family by her side after a brief battle with cancer.
Born September 13, 1972 in Shelby to Ronald and Jovetta (Gregory) Austin, Stacy had been a Tiro resident the majority of her life. She was previously the owner of Bubba's Flea Market in Shelby, where she met the love of her life, Howard, but was most recently the best stay at home mom and wife in the world.
Stacy enjoyed cooking and sewing and playing cards. She was known for hosting the biggest cook-outs and family get togethers around. Stacy's heart knew no stranger. She was always looking for someone to help. She was a foster parent and raised many kids. But more than anything, Stacy loved being "mawmaw" to her precious grandbabies.
She is survived by her husband Howard Sexton , whom she wed November 26, 2011; her mother Jovetta Austin; children Jody (Chris) Weidinger, Heather (Kieth) Connell, Jason(Katheryn) Mullins, Kyle (Ashley) Austin, Tyler (Kady) Sexton, Shayla and Katie Sexton, Trinity and Ameila; 13 grandchildren and 3 grandbabies on the way; and her brother Richard Austin.
Waiting in heaven with a pot of coffee ready was her father Ronald Austin, sister Lisa Jones, brother Ronald Austin Jr. and special friend Pappy Sexton.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday April 26, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Graveside services will be held 12:00PM Tuesday April 27, 2021 at the Tiro Oakland Cemetery.
