Stacy L. Slentz-Biglin, age 35, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born April 7, 1987 in Shelby to Alan and Sheila (Smith) Biglin, she had been an area resident for the majority of her life. A 2005 graduate of Shelby High School, Stacy continued her education at the Pittsburgh Culinary Institute. Followed by a fulfilling career in human resources.
Stacy enjoyed cheering for the Cleveland Browns, spending time with her family and friends, being involved with her kids sporting events, and cooking. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for her fun-loving personality and bright smile that lit up a room.
She is survived by her parents; husband Matthew, whom she married March 17, 2020; children Taylor (13), Caden (11), and Evan (7); sisters Miranda (Perry) James of Wadsworth, and Tessa Graham of Akron; nieces and nephews, Landon, Talia, and Myles James; as well as many other relatives and close friends.
Stacy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Frank and Evelyn Smith; and paternal grandparents Howard and Mary Biglin. Uncles Steve, Tommy and Larry Smith.
Family and friends are welcome to visit the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. Private family funeral services will be held.
